Day 23: New Years Eve

Howdy everyone!

Well here it is, Day 23, New years Eve. Some exciting stuff today actually..well kind of, exciting concerning the blog because I have a video for you! But we will get to that in a bit. I slept in today until 8:40am! Wow an extra 10 minutes. Im looking forward to tomorrow, Im going to sleep in an extra hour which is going to be awesome.

Got up this morning with the plan to do the farm chores and then attempt to escape the farm to get to town to buy some supplies for new years eve. We fed the horses. Rachel went in to the horse pen and held the hay for Mack so he could eat and eventually tricked koko and she went after some scraps and then mack had his choice of hay all to himself which was awesome because we out-smarteded Starz and Koko. After that we went to feed the normal horses Rusty and Finn and letting the dogs out we went back inside to get ready for our attempt to get back to civilization.

As you can tell I was quite surprised that we actually got out of the driveway first try. I haven’t driven my truck in close to a week, so it was awesome we actually got out. I got my supplies at the liquor store as you can see as well haha. But I also needed to get some groceries at the store right next door. I do hope you enjoyed the scenery and the happenings of the video. Like the person taking their dogs for a walk while they drive their car and the dog stopped to take a dump lol.

After we got back I went to collect the eggs. Got 13 today. When i was in the coop the rooster took a crap and it shot out like a missile and I had to dodge it matrix style. I wish i got it on video, it was insane!

We put the dogs in to bed early tonight around 5:30pm because we had no idea when the stupid eighbors were going to start setting off fireworks. Just minutes after we got them inside a firework went off. So that was good timing.

Not much left to do tonight besides drink beer and play videogames until midnight and then go to bed.
