Remember even though someone has 50 it doesnt mean they've won yet because the software only counts your most recent score so, long story short, the person that has the 50 out of 50 could erase their winning score if they take the quiz again before July 7th. So its your gamble if you feel you've done good and you want to try it again, because you might end up screwing yourself over.

Hello everyone. The quiz that I talked about in the last news post is up and running! I will be posting the link to the contest below. But 1st theres just a couple things that need to be said first so everybody knows whats what.

First off, keep in mind that after you take the quiz your submitted score will be sent to us and you will not be able to see what your score is until the contests ends on July 6th to prevent cheating :P. But each week we will post who currently have the top 3 highest scores so far. You can take the test as many times as you want to try and improve your score but remember whoever gets closest to 100% first over the course of the month will be getting the top prize. So get your scores in as early as possible. The other 5 prizes will be up for grabs pretty much until the end of the contest.

After the contest ends everybody will be able to see their score and details on the quiz so you can see which questions you got wrong. When taking the quiz keep an eye out for a few questions that have square checkboxes instead of the little bullet marks. The questions with the tick boxs have more then 1 right answer for the question, and you can select more then one answer.

Good News Everyone! 6 of our entrants from our past contest never contacted us for us to send them their free pin on button as a consolation prize. So Anthony and myself have decided to do a mini contest to get them to someone else instead of them just collecting dust on Anthony's desk. So what we decided to do is make up a quiz that asks multiple choice questions relating to a number of different HM games ranging from items to chatacter names etc. There will be 50 questions. The quiz [once completed and online] will be posted for 1 month. At the end of the month the 6 people with the best scores will each receive a free pin on button featuring the artwork of Vaughn with the caption "Save a horse, Ride a Cowboy". The person who gets the highest score will also receive a $10 EB-Games/Gamestop gift card along with the button! As a tie breaker at the end of the month if more then one person aces the quiz will be whoever completed it 1st. so once its up make sure to take the quiz early for a better chance at top prize! Once the quiz is up and running there will be another news post with a link to the quiz. Good luck to everyone! In Polls, We had left the poll for our next big contest idea for a look-a-like contest for a while longer then usual. So many people voted positively towards it that we decided thats what we are going to do for our next contest! Although at this time we dont know when we will be holding this contest or what the prizes will be. But we here at HMP wanted to let you know thats what we are going to do. Its May 1st which means its time for our monthly new post/update. So to get right down to business. We would like to give our congrats to our top 3 chosen winners of our Fan Art contest! 1st place, Celestral! She won a free copy of Harvest Moon the Tale of Two Towns for the Nintendo DS! Congrats on winning! We hope you have a great time with your new game! 2nd place was Tgainsbrough. She won the prize of Harvest Moon Grand Bazaar for the Nintendo DS. And last but certainly not least Slypiper took 3rd place with his 3D clay display. Slypiper received a cool HM64 fridge magnet. Congrats buddy! If you see your email in the news post below please email us! So our poll for April was for us to get an idea of what kind of participation we would get if we held another contest in the near future. The options were rather simple, "Yes, No or Maybe" The following are the final tally's of the poll! We got 9 definite "Yes!" votes. 2 people didn't like contests. And a great turn out of 13 maybe's. Well, maybe is better then No. Thanks for voting. So as mentioned at the beginning of April our next poll will decide what the contest will be about next time around. So if you are planning to enter again or were one of the 13 people who voted maybe, or the 9 who voted yes, be sure to vote again for what you would like the contest subject to be! The poll will run until June 1st. We decided to do 1 option at a time for a contest so a lot of people get a chance to see each option, plus its going to be a while before we do another contest. So the Poll for June will be to get your opinion on the option of having a Harvest Moon Character Look-A-Like Photo Contest! In this contest you would have to dress up like any HM character and try to be as accurate as possible with costume and hair, etc and take a picture. Its a little late into the month but we have been busy and havent had a chance to make a new poll up for the month of April. We here at HMP would like to get an idea on what kind of participation we would get if we held another contest that was Harvest Moon related in some way. So the next 2 polls will be on that subject. This month we will have a poll simpyl asking if you would enter our next contest or not so we can get an idea of how many people would enter, and then next month we will have a poll about what the contests subject will be wether it be another fan art, or fanfic etc. So be sure to vote on the new poll to let us know if we held another contest, if you would be interested in entering! The following are the current poll results for last month. The poll question was "How long have you been playing HM games?" We had a great turn out for voters, totalling 140! Thanks for voting everyone. The poll was dominated at both ends for 1st and 2nd place. 1st place went to the veteran HM players, 57 voters, just over 40% have been playing HM for 10 or more years. While 17 voters had just started to play HM, well we're glad to welcome you to the rest of the fans of the series! the 3rd place or technically tie for 2nd place was 17 votes as well, obviously, and they had been playing for 3 years.
