The Flower festival is one of my favorites. Basil will come to your farm on Spring 18 or so and say hey the voting has begun. Then any day from the 18th to the 22nd head to the square and vote for who you think should be goddess.


Who you vote for usually wins, but unless your king or the king likes you a lot you can't dance with her at the end of the festival so its best to either not vote at all or pick someone else to be goddess. You will see how to become king in the Harvest Festival section. You can buy Pink Cat mint seeds at the flower festival which will make Popuri happy or you can buy a power berry from the salesman and yes it is a legit sale. After the goddess is revealed you can ask any girl but the goddess to dance and that dance will last till the end of the day.
