Harvest Moon ParadiseHere is where you can enter your horse
in the horse race. You cannot enter in year 1 spring race.
You can bet on races by talking to the mayors wife or get prizes by
talking to the mayor. Each bet is 50G and to figure winnings just
times how much you bet by the odds. So if you bet 1 medal (which
cost 50g) and your horse with 10 to 1 odds wins you get 10 g. A
medal is not the game as money the medals can only be used to get
prizes which are, a new stable for 3000 medals, a stuffed horse for
1000 medals, or a carrot for 500 medals which will help you later on
to win the race. You can view more instructions on the actual
race in the video. Food is also sold here. The best way to
tell if your racing in the next race is if Ann says GET READY GET
PUMPED or you cant bet.
Cheat:
On the day of a horse or dog race, go and talk to the mayor's wife like you normally would to place a bet. Place all the bets that you wish, however once you are finished, simply press B to exit out of the screen instead of pressing OK. Your bets will be saved, but you'll also keep all of your money. If you win the bet, you'll receive the medals as if you had actually bet on the race!
In order to race in the horse race you have to get the horse from green ranch. Simply go there anytime in Spring Year 1 then simply talk to your horse and brush it once you are able to buy the brush from rick for 600G. You will see this scene when getting the horse:Cheat:

Ann will come and check on your horse and say if you are doing a good or bad job. If you are doing a bad job it is not very likely you will win the horse race.
