Biography: Sheng is the games blacksmith and his house is just outside the town gate in Konohana and turn right, instead of left and up the mountain. As you can see from his picture, Sheng has a thing for Panda’s. He does morning Panda exercises even! And he loves bamboo. Make sure you don’t insult Panda’s to his face or he will have a few choice words for you.
Keep an eye on the Konohana Bulletin Board, he will post requests to get you your hammer and axe. And after you befriend him he will post requests to help you by upgrading your tools for you.

Tips: As mentioned in his biography, Sheng loves pandas and therefore, loves bamboo. It can be found on the mountain during Spring and Summer. If you are in fall or winter, Ying often posts requests with Bamboo as the reward.
If your in Fall or Winter and don’t feel like doing requests, you can buy different Tea’s from Yun’s Tea House. The rest of his gifts are hard to come by as you can only find them in the random ore stones you get your hands on in the mountain until Eileen punches through to the mine. And to get the mine, you have to have your farm upgraded to 100% and have the tunnel cleared, so it will be pretty far in the game until you can get the gems.
