Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley or Bokujou Monogatari: Sugar Mura to
Minna no Negai

You remember Save The Homeland right? Well this is Save the Homeland
with marriage and new people.
Once again you are put on a farm of which you inherited from your
grandfather, and now some evil
corporation is trying to turn this cozy little village into a theme
park! OH NO! So what do you do in order
to save the Homeland? Either fork up 50 G's (50,000 gold) or give the
Corporation a very good reason for
the Homeland to stay. It involves finding endagered animals, rare
species of plants, having the regional
horse race, finding the legendary fish, and producing the Harvest
Goddess gown or making a complete
tourist attraction from the Harvest Goddess' underground castle.
Sounds like fun right? You bet your
sweet power berries it is.

This game featured new gameplay that for once was a blast to play around with.
Whether your character be chopping wood for a house upgrade, mining
for rare metals,
Getting fish prints from a little tanuki, courting that one hot chick,
or even farming and ranching!
You also meet new people! And fight evil robots that are set on
destroying the land you want to protect.

Pros:
-Free chicken, when you work for Ronald, he'll give you an egg.
-Chopping Wood for money or for a House extension or just for the hell of it!
-Mining rocks that explode and cause other rocks to explode.
-New people to meet.
-Cooking for money and recipes.
-House Extension.
-Changing your clothes. (Requires house extension first)
-Battling Robots!
-Marriage!

Cons:
-Sometimes the Robots can be really hard to kill.
-Growing crops isn't like the 3x3 format you're used too, you have to
plant each crop seperately.
-2 years isn't always enough time to save the homeland... For free.
-Sometimes it may take up to 14 years of gameplay (7 retries).
-Don't let an animal die! (Gwen's fury will be unleashed upon
you...Consider it the epic B!@#$-Slap you will ever see.)

Overal Scoring: 9/10

So if you happen to like all of the Pros, and perhaps forking over
50,000 gold. Well this probably is the game for you!
