Harvest Moon ParadiseGems can be a useful thing. There are three types of Gems, Goddess
Gems, Kappa Gems, and Gem of Truth. The gem of truth are found in various
locations below, but the goddess and Kappa ones are in certain floors of the
mine. I have never got all of them but through research online this is
what I came up with. If anything is wrong or I missed one let me know.
The only gem of truth I was able to get without having the cabinets is the horse
race one so I assume there is a requirement of having the cabinet for most.

What it Does: Regains your Strength if equipped

What it Does: Displays your Fatigue and Strength its a bar looking thing
Locations:
On your dog house roof
Check the water trough in your Horse's Barn
Exchange for 1000 medals at the Horse Race (only really plausible if you bet on
a long shot)
Buy from Won for 50000 G (he'll show up at your hose in the morning)
Check one of the lampposts between the Church and Rose Plaza
In Mary's Library, 2nd floor, middle set of shelves, furthest one to the right
Play the New Years game show on the TV inside of the Town Cottage (only
available first couple days of spring)
Drops from the calendar in the Mountain Cottage (see house section)
Take all 8 to Thomas' house and check the refrigerator
The gems will be in the tool menu and I believe you have to equip them to use
them, however, I have never got a full gem so I cant say for sure.
