Your Farmhouse
When you begin the game, you will have a farmhouse that consists of one very
small room containing a single bed, a bookcase, a shelf for DVDs and a
telephone. If you wish to marry, you will be required to expand your farmhouse
twice, the first time in order to be able to add a Fridge and Kitchen to it and
the second, in order to be able to add a Big Bed.
You will be given a Cat and a Dog, and outside you will find a doghouse and an
empty stable for a horse, as well as a shipping container that is next to
Takakura's house.
You will not have a television in your farmhouse, although you will be able to
watch television through the Sprite Station accessed in your Menu. A
television can be purchased from Van, although its use is limited essentially
to watching DVDs that you can purchase from him as well. The Weather Channel
is one of the Sprite Stations. It is important to watch the Weather forecast
for the next day as soon as you begin your day.
Your Trash Can
As littering of ANY kind, even if it is nothing more than the act of dropping
an item or crop on your own field, will result in the decrease of friendship
and affection on the part of other individuals, you may wish to make use of
your rubbish bin or Trash Can, located in front of your bed in your farmhouse.
Access the Trash Can by standing to the right of it and pressing the 'A'
button. You will see a prompt on your lower screen: You can discard equipped
items in the Trash Can. Press 'A' again to access the Trash Can Menu:
Which item will you discard?
Tool
Item
Decoration
Don't discard.
You cannot discard Mythic Tools so if you have equipped a Mythic Tool, you need
not fear that you will discard it by accident by highlighting 'Tool'. You can
discard Blessed Tools when equipped, however, so take care when using the Trash
Can. The Trash Can cannot serve as a substitute for the removal of a Cursed
Tool, however. It will not allow you to discard either a Cursed Tool or a
Cured Accessory if you have equipped either. It may be useful to fish from
your house using a Necklace as you will be able to discard Rubbish instantly in
the Trash Can but a similar purpose is served if you fish from ANY building
that contains a shipping container as you can ship any Rubbish that you
'catch'. Remember that when you use the Necklace, you lose energy faster.
V. Your Books
The books in your bookcase when you begin the game consist of brief manuals

in exchange for Medals.
There are other books in your bookcase that can provide useful information such
as the hours when shops are open as well as information about specific

Farm Assets Menu
You will find your Farm Assets menu by tapping the fourth icon on the left of
the lower screen. This menu shows all your assets, your animals as well as
your relationships with them, your Shipping List as well as the number of each
item shipped, and much more. It shows all your accomplishments from the number
and types of fish caught to the levels reached in each of the 4 mines. It
shows the Sprites you have rescued, the Team you have hired and the
relationship you have with each Sprite. There is a vast amount of information
in your Farm Assets Menu but you do need to know how to access it!
When you first open the menu, you will see your current total in Gold at the
top. Beneath that are icons that represent you, your dog, your cat and your
horse. If you tap on your icon, you will see your Farming Degree Level, your
birthday, your tools and the levels of each. Below that you will see your
Sprite Medals total, and finally your Animal Touch Glove scores.
If you tap on the icon representing your character, you will see the following:
Title: (This gives your Level in terms of your Farming Degree.)
Birthday:
Tool Levels
Gold Amount Total
The level of each tool, including your Milker and Clippers is shown as a gauge
next to the icon of the individual tool. In terms of your regular tools, you
will see icons of the ores that represent the level to which you are eligible
to upgrade the tool. In other words, if you see icons of Copper, Silver, Gold
and Mystrile, that will signify the fact that the tool can be upgraded to
Mystrile. There are no icons for the Cursed, Blessed or Mythic levels.
Where the Milker and Clippers are concerned, the levels are numerical. The
Milker and Clippers both begin at Level 0. The level of the Clippers never
will increase beyond zero, by the way, but the level of the Milker will
increase to 1 if you use it. From that point, each use of the Milker will
raise its level by 1 until it reaches Level 99. This is a very useful bonus in
the game and there is an entire section devoted to it in this guide.
If you tap on the icons for your Cat, Dog or Horse, you will see the Animal's
heart level. Inside the Pet List menu, you will see a bar beneath the Dog's
icon that represents his training level. You train your dog by throwing the
dog ball to him.
Returning to the Main Farm Assets page, you will see icons for your Chickens
and Ducks and below that, icons for your Sheep and Cows. Tap on the
appropriate icon to see a list of the animals as well as their heart levels.
The Crowns they have won as well as their status (Healthy, Unhappy, Sick or
Pregnant) will be shown as well.
Next to the Animal icons are icons that represent Bird Feed and Fodder, with
totals next to each. Bird Feed and Fodder will not be shown in these totals
unless it is stored in the Silo or Bird Barn. Any Fodder or Bird Seed that is
in your shelf or rucksack will not be counted.
Below that, you will see two icons of Sprites. The one on the left gives the
total of Sprites rescued. If you tap on it, you will see names of all the
Sprites you have rescued, listed according to Team, as well as their heart
levels and status in terms of current labour. The Sprite icon on the right
depicts any Sprite Team currently working for you.
Below that is a blue rectangular icon that represents your Recipes. The number
after it is the number of Recipes 'written' into your Recipe Book. Next to
that and below it are the totals of each type of Lumber in your possession:
Grass Lumber, Wood Lumber, Stone Lumber and Golden Lumber. Only Lumber that is
stored in the appropriate Lumber Barn will be counted here. Lumber that is in
your rucksack or shelf will be disregarded.
Below these totals and on the left you next will find the icon of a House with
a number after it. That number represents the total number of different types
of building construction and upgrade that you have ordered from Gotz. If you
tap on the icon you will see the Level of your House as well as the types and
totals of every other sort of building and upgrade you possess.
The next icon depicts a container filled with crops. This is your Shipping
List and the number next to it shows the total of the different types of items
you have shipped. When you open this menu, you will see each item and by
highlighting any item, you can see its name or its total. There is a sub-menu
here that shows how many of each Level of any specific item you have shipped
and whether shipped through an ordinary shipping container or through the
Cannery. Any Giant items you have produced will be shown here as well. The
highest level of any crop or ranch product is 100. All levels of items that
have been shipped will be counted in the sub-menu for each item in the Shipping
List.
Below this is the icon of a fish on a line. If you tap on it, you will see
your Fishing List. It will give you the name of each fish caught, the largest
size you have caught as well as the total for each.
Below this is an icon that depicts mining. If you tap on this, you will open a
menu that shows your Mine List. The Mine List will show all items you have
found in any of the 4 Mines as well as the Excavation Site. It includes all
Cursed Tools and Cursed Accessories as well as the Wonderful Stones.
Within the Mining Menu, there are sub-menus. To the left, you will find four
icons. The first shows a piece of gold ore and tapping on it will give you the
Mine List. Below it is the icon of a Cow. Tapping on it will give you a list
of all the Dark Creatures you have encountered and defeated in the Mines.
The third option is 'OTHER'. If you tap on it, you will see other mining
statistics, including the number of stones smashed in the Mines, and the number
of squares of soil unearthed. It will show the lowest level reached in each of
the 4 mines.
The fourth icon when tapped will take you back to the main Farming Assets page.
As you can see, the Farming Assets menu is enormous and gives a tremendous
amount of information about your life in the Valley!
