Festivals: Birthday: Date is set by player -Whoever you're best friends with will give you a gift. New Years: Happens every year on the 1st of Spring except the first year. Cherry Cup Races: - Spring 15th. In the second year when your horse is mature enough, you can run your horse in the horse races to earn money and the photograph for winning. Flower Viewing: Spring 25th - Go to the square to see all the cherry blossoms and get another photograph. Star Festival: Summer 7th - Go to the square at night to join the rest of the people viewing the night sky. Moon Viewing: Fall 10th - Go to the mountain at night to view the moon with Mary and get a photograph. Daisy Cup: Fall 15th - Like the Cherry Cup. Win to get Napa seeds. Harvest Festival: Fall 25th - Daisy needs a dairy item for the cream stew, so make sure to bring something like cheese or milk etc. Then head over to the square. You will get a photograph for it too. Thanksgiving: Winter 14th - You get free cake. Yay, cake! Holy Night: Winter 25th - Go to Church and you can pray to the Harvest Goddess. You can pray for sunshine, happiness, friendship, health, or wealth. Character Events and Weather: Animal graveyard: You will get this event if one of your animals dies. Its not a very fun event and Chet will get upset at you for it. Snowball fight: On the third year on a Sunday during winter, head over to the square and you end up walking right into a snowball fight between Bill and Daisy. Then Will and Chocola start up too and you can start to let loose! You will get a photograph afterwards. Hot Springs date: One day Daisy's shop will be closed even though it's not a festival day, or a Sunday. If you go to the hot springs, she will be there and asks if you want to join her for a bit. Agree, and she'll go into the springs and you can just relax a bit. Time Capsule: On any random day, Mary will ask you to come to the area around the hotsprings. After some talking, you'll end up putting messages in a time capsule and told to come back in 3 years. Mushroom Rice: In Fall, Chocola may ask you to meet in the mountain to hunt for mushrooms. Talk to her there, then gather the mushrooms. After you give her three, talk to her and she'll thank you. A week later there will be a message on the Bulletin Board saying for the next 10 days she'll sell Mushroom Rice at the Restaurant. A wedding: In the 3rd year, around the 20th of Spring, Chet will ask you to attend a wedding on the 1st of Summer. After this, Chocola takes over the resturant and you rarely see Rosie again. Ghost Stories?: Bill will come by to tell you about a ghost sighting. Head to the Town Square and talk to Ken, who seems to be a bit spooked, and the mayor, who'll ask you to go see Cain who wants you to go talk to Ken again. Ken will tell his tale and say specific keywords you want to make note of. When you return to the Church, Cain wants you to retell the story like Ken said it. You'll then discover what really went on that night. Special Melon Order: If you plant a bunch of melons, Ken may come by when they're ripe and ask for 20 of them. If you tell him yes, put 20 melons in the shipping bin and don't put anything else in the bin after that. When he comes by later on, he'll either give you 5000G for the melons, or 150G each if you came up short. Ear infection: Sometime after 3 years, you'll wake up and not be able to hear anything. Just go to the Doctor and you'll be fine afterwards. Hurricanes: Summer around 11th and 21st - Makes you miss a day of work and ruins your crops. Heavy Snow: Winter 1st and 20th - Same effect as the hurricanes.
